Another day, another day for engagement photos in Oahu Hawaii. When Aly told me they wanted to bring their husky fur baby Juno to their engagement session, I straight up DIED. My obsession with dogs is pretty steep, so if I can encourage anyone to bring their pups to be in their engagement photos, I will do it!

We took Juno to a popular hiking trail to take their engagement photos. This is the walking path on the right of the Makapuu Lighthouse Trail and takes us through a huge field of grass. This was the summertime, so the even though the grass wasn’t green we loved it! We don’t have any legit wheat fields to take engagement photos in Oahu, so I’ll take these locations when I can get them! Sometimes we, Hawaii peeps, want some photos in Hawaii without looking to “Hawaii.”

PLUS, they told me they weren’t beach people. I totally get that, not everyone is! So why take engagement photos on a beach, when that isn’t really you? The answer is you shouldn’t haha. Take Rob & Aly’s lead and take your engagements photos in Hawaii wherever you want to!

Some locations may be harder to get to or get good light in, but that’s where I come in! We can find a location to get us good light and still make sense for you guys.
