When it came to wedding planning, Ebonie and Billie opted for an intimate ceremony with 20 of their favorite people. Friends and family flew in from across the country to witness their beautiful union. And the soft white sand and the tall, tropical trees at Sunset Ranch was the perfect place for a beautiful wedding.
In their case, it was an intimate affair with a tropical vibe and lots of gorgeous florals. They were really drawn to the natural beauty and views which made for such a peaceful wedding day.
Sunset Ranch sits on a private thirty acre property on the North Shore of Oahu. This stunning estate has views of both the ocean and the gorgeous mountains along the northwest side of the island. As a Hawaii wedding photographer, it’s a personal fave.
It is located in Haleiwa, Hawaii, on the North Shore of Oahu, right between two nature preserves. Sounds like a dream, right?
Because of its size, you can host huge parties of guests, but it is also the perfect spot for an intimate beachside gathering with a few loved ones.
So if you are in the throes of wedding planning and sandy toes, mountain views, and beachside “I do’s,” sound like you, then Sunset Ranch just might be calling your name!
Because of its large size, Sunset Ranch offers six different smaller venue options for holding wedding events. So you’ll have plenty of options to choose from!
Ebonie and Billie chose to have their intimate ceremony on a gorgeous expanse of lawn surrounded by towering, tropical trees.
Venues at Sunset Ranch
Sunset Meadow is a wide expanse of five acres that you can do whatever you please with. Couples who choose this venue typically hold their ceremony in front of the huge eucalyptus tree, which is literal perfection.
Their botanical garden, Fern’s Garden, is a great option for couples who want a garden vibe, or lots of fresh blooms to say, “I do” under.
However, if you are hoping for a water feature on your special day, consider choosing Charlie’s Pond, where a beautiful waterfall and a tranquil pond area meet.
And Sunset Vista is the perfect spot if you are hoping to catch the sunset in your wedding pictures. Also, Sunset Stables and the Courtyard Chapel are great options for couples who want to hold their wedding or reception indoors.
And of course, you can also rent out the entire estate if you’re planning to accommodate a large number of people.
Why should I choose this venue?
Sunset Ranch is unique in that it is one of the only estates in Hawaii that is protected by federal, state, and county grant funding in order to advance its mission of land conservation and sustainability in Hawaii. So this means that you can feel good about giving your money to them. Win-win!
