Matt + Mandie’s wedding was one of the most fun and emotional days, with the best family and friends, so photographing their wedding in Honolulu Hawaii was an amazing for me. It’s weddings like this that reaffirm my belief in love in relationships, friendships, and family.

They’ve been together for over 10+ years and currently live in Oregon. But I LOVE that they brought their wedding home to have a Honolulu wedding!! They had an amazing wedding ceremony at Cafe Julia in downtown Honolulu with a BOMB reception at the Hale Koa Hotel in Waikiki! They had SO many special touches throughout the day that made everything truly their own. There were so many elements that they inserted into the day that had us crying, laughing, even cackling so hard.

When I say SO many, I mean it. From Mandie doing a first look with her dad and brother, to Matt and Mandie praying right before the ceremony, having his uncle and her close family friend officiating, and hilarious stories and kissing games at the reception. I’m telling you, they did it right. Everything they did from decor to vows and reception had touches from their family and friends who worked so incredibly hard to make their day happen!
