SO BEYOND EXCITED TO WRITE THIS POST. You have no idea haha!

If you follow me on Instagram (@sarahjual if you’re curious), you would have seen this post of my friends Megan & Michael:

When I asked them to have a couples photo shoot so I could practice directing people and add to my portfolio, I would have ever imagined that I have some of my new favorite images!

 We’ve been friends since high school, and they’ve actually been together since our sophomore year! I knew it would be easy to talk to them, but directing people (really anyone in general) into poses is always something I have difficulty with which is why I was so appreciative of Megan & Michael who listened to my awkward direction haha!

I had so many firsts on this shoot as well: from shooting in not ideal weather (humid, windy, cloudy/rainy), driving to three different locations, and shooting in the dark! (What!?) While none of these conditions sound ideal, it actually was what made this shoot so great (besides my awesome friends)! I decided to be open to all of these conditions and see if my comfort zone could grow to love shooting like this, and it certainly has. Who would have thought that I would crave the cloudy weather again?
